I have a bachelor degree in Cultural Anthropology at University of Bologna, Italy, and a Master in Tourism at Aalborg University, Denmark.
Across my studies I have matured an affinity for the areas of heritage tourism, tourism marketing and branding, tourism encounters and destination planning and development.
My present research area, as part of the Interreg project Ingoskog, is on forest-based tourism experiences, particularly in terms of experience staging, digitalization and value creation. Such focus brings me close to the most recent theoretical developments of the experience economy, nature-based tourism and value co-creation.
