I am a PhD student in Health Sciences and I am interested in investigating the relationship between paid work, food insecurity and health inequalities among Mozambican workers. Specifically in this research we are interested in responding the following questions: 

1. What is the prevalence, severity and determinants of food insecurity among paid and unpaid workers across households? (Study  I)
2. Does the interaction between paid work and food insecurity relate to type 2 diabetes and hypertension? (Study II).
3. Does paid and unpaid work relate to food insecurity and depression within households? (Study III).
4. What are the experiences and coping strategies among paid and unpaid workers within households? (Study IV).
